Acer continues to push for Windows 8 tablets during sweetening period in Q3

While Microsoft is trying to reduce the negative impact of Surface Tablet, Mr. J.T. Wang, chairman of Acer Inc. expressed that his company will continue to push actively for Windows 8 tablets by stocking supply in September as the economic in August is getting better than July during the "sweeten" period  in third quarter.

Wang bluntly said: "Microsoft did not communicate with everyone when they tried to cross into the branded tablet!" Now, Acer understood that Microsoft has a different idea, as the company has assessment revealed the positive and negative effects, that also has a negative effect on the notebook PC ecological system, which communicate with Microsoft who is also looking to minimize the negative impact.

Worries Microsoft hurts others include itself
Since there is no announcement on the pricing or the sales channels, Wang said everyone is watching what Microsoft will do next. Wang elaborated that if Microsoft Surface Tablet costs around US$199, the impact would be enormous; and if Microsoft set its price range of US$499~599 for Surface Tablet, the impact would be minimal. 

In a recent statement that criticized Microsoft Surface damage the relationship between partners, Wang defended himself saying his deep concern about the future development Microsoft will hurt itself after injuring other first, noted that one of his hand is on Acer while the other hand is on Windows ecosystem.

After saying fierce words, Wang at ease a lot better saying Acer will actively push Microsoft tablets. Wang quoted ad said: "As executive of branded PC, my personally opinion is that Windows 8 has the most positive view, of course,  is pleased to see Win 8 success after many comments from Acer, yet to preserve the Win 8 to succeed."

Wang said: "Acer brand is not afraid of competitions, but hope we can figure out the essence of competitiveness and the rules of the game." Presently, Acer is now actively communicating, believing that the Windows 8 new platform will have bigger space than before, allowing product innovation to have orientation freely and spacious.
